DHL Carparhian Marathon

DHL created, starting with 2005, DHL Carpathian Marathon, a unique mountaing running event with a social component. Stunning views, great atmosphere, amazing ambassadors and passionate runners. Pure adrenaline.

As PR & Media Relations partner, we managed all the PR initiatives starting with the 2017’s edition – from press releases, to pitching editorial content and ambassadors’ management.  Also, in the last year we took the responsibility of digital and creative concept.

It is not an easy task to keep being attractive when you are doing good the same thing for years. DHL Carpathian Marathon is a very loved event for its story, for its social cause and for the uniqueness of trails and spectacular views of Carpathians. Our challenge was to create, year by year, an efficient communication strategy, with the aim to generate a great impact in the media and the event to become SOLD OUT.

The power of storytelling in the 2019 edition of DHL Carpathian Marathon helped us building a strong community, raising awareness, reaching new people around us, empowering the DHL brand, communicate MPG Romania as organizer and build trust around our cause – The National Paralympic Committee. The event was SOLD OUT a week before the event, our messages reached an audience of 10,999,589 and brought 1,800 participants at the start line. And brought a trophy in our team: Golden Award for Excellence at Romanian PR Awards.
